The New Hampshire Film Festival Names The Provident Bank as Lead Sponsor
September 22, 2016, Portsmouth, NH — The New Hampshire Film Festival is pleased to announce The Provident Bank as a lead sponsor of the 16th annual New Hampshire Film Festival — which this year takes place Oct 13-16 in historic downtown Portsmouth.
This year’s festival will feature nearly 100 films, multiple events, movie premieres and a growing cast of filmmakers and celebrities. The four-day event is considered to be one of the premiere arts and cultural attractions in New Hampshire each year.
“Bringing this festival to Portsmouth year after year is no easy task,” said NHFF Executive Director Nicole Gregg. “We wouldn’t be able to make this happen without the generosity of our sponsors — especially underwriters like The Provident Bank, who consistently step up to the plate to help us promote the arts.”
Dave Mansfield, CEO of The Provident Bank, said the bank is proud to be a lead sponsor of this year’s festival. “Supporting the arts in our local communities is part of our mission at the bank and we are honored to be supporting such a worthy event,” he said.
Mansfield said there is also another reason the bank has remained committed to supporting the film festival throughout the years. "The New Hampshire Film Festival is a cultural gem and a tremendous asset to the greater Seacoast community," said Mansfield. "This event brings people from all over the world to our region in celebration of film and filmmakers.”
A kickoff party is slated for Tuesday, Oct. 4 from 5-7pm at The Thirsty Moose Tap House at 21 Congress St.
