To Our Valued Customers,

During this time of great disruption in our communities due to COVID-19, The Provident Bank stands ready to serve you and to help navigate these very difficult times. Our pandemic plan is in place, and we are working diligently to reduce the spread of the virus to protect the safety and health of our employees and customers.

As a result, we’ve enacted a plan that allows a substantial amount of our employees to work remotely, with the remaining team members successfully enacting social distancing by creating separation between work spaces and utilizing all isolated spaces.

I praise the years of time and investment our staff has put into our technology infrastructure, which has allowed us to be uniquely equipped for this challenging time. This investment has not only afforded us the opportunity to seamlessly transition to alternative working environments for our staff, but it also gives you, our valued clients, the freedom to bank from the comfort and safety of your homes.

Starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020, we limited access to our branch lobbies for at least two weeks, with ongoing review. We will continue offering services through our drive-up windows for account-specific items that cannot be done via electronic means. Additionally, access to certain branch lobbies will be made available on a limited basis via appointment only.

With our full array of options available in online and mobile banking, you can rest assured we are always with you. It’s never too late to register. Simply navigate to the registration link in the Message Center of our homepage. If you have questions, please give us a call and our team will guide you through it. You may also visit our website for helpful tips on how to bank from home with The Provident Bank. We also understand that some of you may need services not available online, so we are continuing to keep our drive-up windows open at our branches.

Additionally, as a part of this community for almost 200 years, we’re committed to assisting businesses and customers during this uniquely difficult time. We, just like you, are learning how to navigate in these new times so while we might not have a clear answer immediately, we promise that our team is there for you. However, we can only help you if we are first aware of the challenges you may be facing.

We strongly encourage our customers facing financial challenges arising during this difficult time to please reach out to us directly. You can contact us by calling 877-487-2977, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm or Saturday from 9am to 1pm.

And remember, with our dedication to you, teamed with our fully-insured deposits through the FDIC and DIF, there is no safer place to have your money right now than with The Provident Bank.

We are proud to be part of this community and we are here for you, ready to help. Together, we will get through this.

Stay safe and be well.

Sincerely,

David Mansfield, CEO
