Tristan Shanley, Assistant Vice President for Small Business Lending at The Provident Bank, works with small to medium sized businesses in the Seacoast New Hampshire and Greater Boston area markets. Shanley started with the bank when Dave Mansfield took over as CEO of the bank in 2013. Dave decided to embark on a Cultural journey at the bank and hired Tristan to facilitate a program created by an outside consultant. After the successful Cultural shift Shanley joined the Business Development team working with business customers assisting with their deposit and commercial services needs. She then moved to the Commercial Lending team to serve our small businesses, offering creative financing solutions to help them start, grow, and expand.
Shanley received her Bachelor’s Degree in Textiles, Merchandising & Design with a minor in Marketing from The University of Rhode Island. She is a member of the Portsmouth Rotary Club and currently Vice Chair of New Heights, a non-profit in Portsmouth, NH.
Elliot Smith, Small Business Lender at The Provident Bank, helps to finance small to medium sized businesses in the Southern New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts markets. Smith started at the Provident Bank in 2017, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the team. When the bank received a grant from the Massachusetts Bankers Association, he was asked to be a part of a group of 20 employees to work on the LEAN team with the task of coming up with creative solutions to improve processes at the bank. He has also been recommended by the bank to attend the Greater Manchester Leadership Program in 2018. Smith has experience working with businesses in a variety of industries, including but not limited to: manufacturing, technology, specialized construction, and real estate.
Smith received his Bachelor of Arts in General Studies - Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.
