The Provident Community Foundation
The Provident Community Foundation, Inc. was established in 1997 to provide resources to improve, enhance and secure the quality of life in our region, by funding initiatives of nonprofit, community based organizations.
The Foundation is a permanent expression and confirmation of the values of The Provident Bank, a mutual financial institution which operates solely for the benefit of its customers and the communities it serves.
The Foundation's Board of Directors regard all grants as worthwhile investments that support and foster programs which have a positive impact on the quality of life in our community.
The Foundation grants approximately $100,000 annually and since its inception has provided over $4 million in funding to local non-profit organizations.
Applications to the Foundation are due no later than February 15, May 15, August 15, and November 15. Applications not received by these deadlines will be reviewed in the next quarter. The Provident Charitable Advisory Committee meets quarterly to review the applications. If you are considering submitting an application, please notify Beverly Ledoux at 978-834-8590 or email her at email@example.com.
